Before a practical driving test date can be obtained the Theory & Hazard Perception test must be passed.
The test is divided into two parts, both taken at the same time:
Part 1. A multiple choice test comprising 50 questions covering all aspects of the Highway Code, accidents & emergencies, road law and vehicle handling. The pass mark is 43.
Part 2. A hazard perception test consisting of a series of video clips of actual road hazards that need to be identified. The pass mark is 44 from a possible 75.
Elaine can go over both these tests with you to complement your home study towards passing them.
