Terms & Conditions

• The learner driver must hold a current driving licence either with provisional or full entitlement to drive a category B vehicle.                                                                      
• The learner driver must be able to read a number plate at a distance of 20m (with corrective eyewear if necessary)                                                                                     
• The learner driver must inform the instructor if they receive any points on their driving licence during the period of their training.                                                             
• The learner driver must inform the instructor no less than 24 hours in advance of being unable to attend a scheduled driving lesson or the full lesson fee will become due before another lesson can be scheduled.         
• The learner driver must pay for their scheduled driving lesson by bank transfer at least 12 hours before the start of the lesson. Failure to make this payment will result in the lesson being cancelled and the full lesson fee become due before another lesson can be scheduled.                        
• The learner driver must not attend a driving lesson under the infuence of alcohol or drugs.                                  
• The learner driver must attend a scheduled driving lesson on time, lateness will result in lost time as lessons will not be extended beyond their finish time.      
• The instructor will rearrange lost time at a later date due to the instructor running late for any reason.              
• The instructor reserves the right to cancel scheduled driving lessons at short notice due to mechanical breakdown.                                                                                   
• The instructor accepts no liability for any accident or injury sustained during a driving lesson or driving test.    
• The instructor reserves the right to withhold the use of their car for the driving test if they are of the opinion the learner driver is of an actual or potentially dangerous standard or have been unable to progress to the required driving test standard. 

Further terms & conditions for intensive driving courses

• The driving test must be booked for a mutually acceptable date before a course can be arranged.
• A refundable (up until 14 days before course is due to begin) deposit of £100 is required at time of booking.
• The full non-refundable (under no circumstances) balance is due no later than 14 days before the course is due to begin.
•  Should the instructor be of the opinion at the end of the day, the day before the driving test that the learner driver has not reached an appropriate standard to take the driving test the instructor will withhold the use of their car. No refund of the driving test fee or any training hours not completed will be reimbursed.
