Pass Plus

Now you have learnt the basics on how to drive and passed your driving test its time to take your skills onto the next level.

Further training is available by way of the Government Pass Plus programme.

Statistics prove that the risk of having an accident is highest during the first year of driving after passing the driving test. This is why the Government launched the Pass Plus programme. Backed by the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) and major motor insurance companies, it is designed to help new drivers gain more experience and become better equipped for the demands of modern driving.

The PASS PLUS course is a six-hour module, which will include motorways, dual carriageways, all weather and night driving along with city and rural driving. After completion you should be able to obtain a discount from many insurance companies, subject to your personal circumstances.
